Summer Food Distribution

Families with school age children have additional food expenses over the summer. These groceries help support good nutrition for all of our kids.

The Action Center partners with the READS program to provide essential grocery support to families during the summer. READS is a literacy initiative that supports hundreds of elementary students across multiple schools in Jefferson County each year.

In collaboration with local food distribution agencies—Jeffco Eats, BGoldN, Light of the World, Columbine Kiwanis, IFCS, Community Table, Mountain Resource Center, and Food Bank of the Rockies—we ensure that families have access to nutritious groceries.

This program is made possible with financial support from community partners like the Jeffco Schools Foundation and Colorado Gives.
