Did you know that in Colorado there are 10,587* people experiencing homelessness? And that a simple pair of NEW, clean socks can make a momentary difference in their lives?

That’s why the Action Center has teamed up with Ryan Avery from Breaking History to collect 10,587 pairs of NEW socks and $10,587 to help make the difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness. This will be a world record attempt at the Largest Sock Drive.

The current record is held by Temple University’s Main Campus Program Board who collected 2,798 socks on October 9, 2017, and distributed them to those in need.

You can help the Action Center blow this record out of the water and make the difference for those in our local community. The collected socks will be distributed to Action Center participants and the funds raised will support the Action Center’s soon to be re-opened program shelter in partnership with Red Rocks Community College.
